• Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn
• Ability to do physical laborREPORTS TO: Building Principal/Area SupervisorJOB GOAL: To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum and clean carpet.
• Dust and polish furniture, wash windows, woodwork, venetian blinds, and bathrooms.
• Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
• Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
• Move office and school furniture as needed.
• Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
• Perform some heavy lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :Salary Range: Range 1 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($11.44/hr. - $20.06/hr. depending on relevant experience)Length of Contract: 182 contract days, 8 hours per dayFLSA Status: Non-exemptPersonnel Status: ClassifiedBenefits Eligible: YesEVALUATION :Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.APPLICATION PROCEDURE :Interested and qualified applicants should submit an online application at www.pcssd.org.
